Our client wins FinTech Company of the Year Award

Huge congratulations to Confused.com on winning FinTech Company of the Year at the FinTech Awards Wales. It’s deserved recognition for the vision, focus and commitment of the team to drive business growth by continually harnessing emerging tech imaginatively to reimagine customer experience – and we’re delighted to have played our part in supporting them over the past few years.

An award-winning FinTech team

As well as taking the key title of FinTech Company of the Year, Confused.com were also runners up in Best Place To Work at the ceremony in Cardiff on 8th September.

Celebrating the FinTech professionals of Wales, the evening saw 61 finalists competing for 16 titles, including FinTech Start-up, FinTech Scale-up, FinTech Exporter and New Product of the Year. Started in 2019, FinTech Awards Wales aims to support the country’s digital revolution (the fastest-growing digital economy outside of London) by recognising, attracting and investing in its growing FinTech sector.

This national title is the latest in a string of awards accumulated by Confused.com since it was founded in 2002, including Best In-House Team at the 2014 European Search Awards and Best Systems Integration at the 2013 UK Sitecore Site of the Year Awards.

Dootrix’s partnership with Confused.com

Dootrix first partnered with Confused.com when we were awarded a six-month project to bring its app up to date. Working in collaboration with the in-house team, we reimagined the entire customer journey, drawing on extensive behavioural analysis, to deliver an intelligent, intuitive user experience.

At the end of the fixed-term project, we moved to a more flexible partnership, providing Confused.com with a retained team of mobile developers, designers, QA engineers and a project manager. For the past few years, this team has extended and refined the functionality of the app in response to customer demand to give consumers more of what they want, effectively meeting the business goals of increased engagement and brand loyalty.

We’re delighted to have supported Confused.com in continually pushing the boundaries of app development and capability, helping it achieve its objectives by reimagining and redefining customer experiences. This national award is deserved recognition of the long-term vision, flexibility and responsiveness of Confused.com in the ever-shifting tech landscape.
